Selina Jen slams beauty shop for stealing her photograph

The 36-year-old singer exposed the fraud on her Facebook yesterday (Mar 19), and shared the original photo she took.

In the photo, Selina was smiling while holding a red bean pancake between her fingers, while the shop had edited the photo to make it look like the singer was holding onto the cream instead.

“The Internet is a wide place, and a despicable one! I am clearly holding a red bean pancake, but they managed to edit the photo to make it look like I was holding the cosmetic cream instead,” she lashed out. “So many people have been asking me if this is true, and I’m announcing this here because I don’t want any of you to get cheated.”

As Selina once received third-degree burns all over her body following a terrible filming accident, she revealed that her burn scars were not visible in her photos because she edits her photos to cover the scars, instead of using the cream like the advertisement suggested.

“I used my sincere smile, and several editing applications to produce the beautiful photographs you see,” she shared, “Do not be tricked!”

Following her outburst, fans expressed their support for the singer, and told her she did not have to make the extra effort to cover up her scars. “They are all part of you, so it’s okay to bravely show them,” they wrote.

In response to her fans’ concerned messages, Selina left a witty comment, confessing that most of her edits were to “alter her face shape”, instead of covering up her scars.
