Sonia Sui denies Max’s enrolment in Taipei European School

Taiwanese actress Sonia Sui’s son, Max, is now two years and four months old. With just eight months to go until his third birthday, many are speculating that he will attend Taipei European School (TES) alongside Hathaway, Taiwanese singer Jay Chou’s daughter, who is of the same age.

Speculations that Hathaway will attend TES started when Jay was spotted visiting the international school. While Jay and his wife, model-actress Hannah Quinlivan, have not clarified the rumours, their agency denied to comment, saying that they “will not pry into personal matters”.

Sonia, on the other hand, has directly denied the reports of her son’s enrolment. She revealed that although she and her businessman husband Tony Chia put their children’s education among their top priorities, they are not considering any schools at the moment as the couple wishes to be more involved in their children’s learning journey.

TES is an international school in Shilin District, Taipei, and integrates European culture and values into their education system. The school is attended by the children of Taiwan-based Malaysian singer Gary Chaw, Taiwanese model-actress Hung Hsiao Lei, and more.
