Zanilia Zhao posts passive-aggressive update on Weibo

Zanilia Zhao (also known as Zhao Liying) and Feng Shaofeng have been in the media spotlight for months now, having first been rumoured to be dating, which later snowballed into pregnancy and wedding rumours.

The pair’s respective agencies have repeatedly denied the rumours, but the actors themselves have rarely spoken about the issue, instead choosing to keep silent despite the flood of speculation that is surrounding them.

However, it seems that Zanilia has had enough of people sneaking photographs of her, using those snaps as “evidence” that she is expecting a bun in the oven.

On September 10, she updated her Weibo with a post that read, “What do you mean it’s a coincidence? It was just that I was walking (around in public), and so were you, but you fished out your mobile phone (to take photos of me). I want to post photos that I took myself.”

Zanilia’s post was accompanied with two photos of her dog, along with a group photo which included her. She also added a photo of a cat with the words, “secretly wronged” on it. However, what caught netizens’ eyes was a veiled threat which was attached in another image.

It read, “If you do something wrong, I can let you off once. If you say something wrong, I can let you off once too. If you hurt me I can still let you off. If you deceive me, I’ll continue to let you off just once. But remember, I have a temper, and I’ll never let people off (for what they’ve done to me).”
