Eric Tsang, Chin Ka Lok and producer Chiu Li Kwan attended the premiere of Golden Job in Taipei on September 13. The film reportedly cost over NTD 1 billion (about S$44.5 million) to make.
Eric can be seen slapping Jordan Chan hard in a preview clip. Eric joked, "I have wanted to beat him up for a long time." He then added, on a serious note, that "it's not easy" to shoot a convincing slapping scene. "The best way is to slap the person for real."
He then recalled shooting a slapping scene with Cherie Chung. "We slapped each other over ten times but the director was still not satisfied. At last I said, let’s do this for real, and slapped Cherie very hard. She was so angry, she immediately slapped me back. I couldn't hear anything for the next two days."
