On Weibo yesterday, Chinese actor Qin Hao, 37, made public an ultrasound image of his “little monkey” with his wife, Taiwanese singer and actress Annie Yi, 46.
The picture seemed to show the couple are expecting a boy, and the caption read, “Jointly produced by Qin Hao and Annie Yi.”
Afterwards, Annie confirmed her pregnancy on Facebook. “Thank you for your congratulations, we’re immensely grateful. Mr Qin, you’re going to be a dad,” she wrote.
She added that she discovered she was expecting last November 7, and the child is due this July.
Annie is in her 15th week of pregnancy right now. When she found out the good news, she reportedly told Jeng Cherng-Jye, her good friend and a professor of obstetrics and gynaecology at the Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital.
The latter then examined Annie and stated that she conceived naturally without much difficulty because Qin Hao didn’t give her any pressure to have children.
Qin Hao and Annie married in early 2015.
