Although Hong Kong singer-actor Aaron Kwok had shared that he does not intend to try for a third child any time soon in June this year, media outlets are reporting that the 54-year-old has since changed his mind.
The reports claim that Aaron is now actively “trying to convince” his wife, Chinese model Moka Fang, to try for a third child as he wishes to have a son. The couple, who tied the knot in 2017, has two daughters together, two-year-old Chantelle and Charlotte, who was born in April this year.
It has also been reported that Aaron recently splurged on an extravagant gift for the 32-year-old: an Hermès handbag worth NT$500,000 (about S$22,000). Additionally, reports claim Aaron also promised a cash gift of NT$4 million (about S$180,000), leading to speculations that these might be advance push presents to encourage Moka to bear him a baby boy.
According to the reports, Moka has shared with her close friends that Aaron “had never given her a bag worth more than NT$400,000 (about S$18,000) before, and that she was thrilled to receive her new designer arm candy”.
She was also said to have become more receptive to the idea of trying for a son, with her worry being that she would “end up giving birth to another girl”. The couple has apparently scheduled an appointment with doctors and is actively seeking advice from their close friends.
Guess we’ll know if there is any truth to these reports in nine months or so?
