Jack Luck to be interred in Australia; funeral set for February

Model and host’s manager says a March memorial will be held for his Taiwan fans, friends

The family of Jack Luck, an Australian–Korean model and co-host of “Taiwan Taste” on Fox TV’s Chinese channel, are seeking approval to transport his body back to Australia for burial. A Christian funeral is planned for a day between February 2 and 4, according to Jack’s manager.

The model and television host died at about 5 a.m. on January 20 in an apparent suicide by hanging at his home in Taiwan. He was 25.

Once approval is received, Jack’s older brother Sam will accompany his body back to Australia.

Jack’s manager said a memorial will be organised for his friends and fans in Taiwan sometime in March, but the exact date will be chosen after the funeral has taken place.

Jack reportedly never recovered from the death of his girlfriend two years ago. Less than half an hour before he took his own life, he sent a series of text messages to Miko of the pop duo By2, whom he was once rumoured to be romantically involved with.
