Lee Hom’s song cover hints at gender of second child?

The singer-actor had covered John Mayer’s ‘Daughters’

Yesterday, Chinese-American singer-actor Lee Hom posted a short cover of John Mayer’s ‘Daughters’ on his Facebook and Weibo, where he strummed the guitar and sang a short excerpt of the song.

The 39-year-old, who had thoughtfully translated the English lyrics into Chinese in his caption for his fans, had chosen to sing the verse which went, “Fathers, be good to your daughters, daughters will love like you do. Girls become lovers who turn into mothers, so mothers be good to your daughters too.” As a result, fans started speculating that Lee Hom had uploaded the cover as a hint to the gender of his second child, which he had claimed to be clueless about.

The 39-year-old Mandopop singer announced his marriage to Jing Lei in 2013 and the couple became parents to daughter Jiali in 2014. In February this year, the singer announced that his wife is expecting their second child.
