Michelle Yeoh hints at March wedding to Jean Todt

Actress turned down fiance’s proposals many times

Malaysian actress and former Bond girl Michelle Yeoh, 53, has hinted that she may finally be marrying her fiance, French motoring executive and International Automobile Federation president Jean Todt, 69.

During a recent appearance on the Chinese talk show Day Day Up, Michelle said she had turned down marriage proposals from Jean many times because 2015 was a busy year for both of them, but after persistent questioning the actress let slip that “this March will be less packed.”

Michelle reportedly made up her mind to get married because of the Nepal earthquake that took place last April. She and Jean were traveling in the country when the disaster struck. Amid the commotion and destruction she heard Jean call out to her and escaped into the open, and she realised how important Jean was to her.

The couple have been dating since 2004, and Michelle often makes appearances by Jean’s side at motoring events.
