The latest on the private life of Taiwanese singer Wu Tsing-fong, 33, is that he’s rumoured to be close to an American man named Mark, who lives in Taiwan.

According to Taiwanese media, the main vocalist with six-piece indie band Sodagreen met Mark through a mutual friend last year, and Mark was very much taken with Tsing-fong’s gentle singing voice.

He even told his own friends about Tsing-fong, sparking rumours that the pair were intimate. And when Tsing-fong travelled to the US last year, Mark acted as his personal tour guide during his trip.

This isn’t the first time Tsing-fong has been romantically linked with men. In 2011 a series of intimate text messages surfaced, purportedly a conversation between Tsing-fong and an unnamed man. The singer’s manager confirmed the phone number used belonged to Tsing-fong but said he had left the phone with a friend.

Tsing-fong had reportedly taken intimate photos with a Japanese gay porn actor, and rumours have circulated online that he was once close to the older brother of Malaysian model Yvonne Liu.

The singer has previously denied the rumours via his Weibo page, calling netizens imaginative, and he revealed he had had a girlfriend when he was in university.
