Yang Mi denies rumours of discord with husband Hawick Lau

The actress assured everyone that the couple are on good terms

Hong Kong actor Hawick Lau and Chinese actress Yang Mi’s two-year marriage has been plagued by rumours of discord multiple times, despite Hawick’s repeated denials.

Yesterday, Yang Mi appeared at the press conference for her newest drama, Les Interprètes where she addressed the rumours for the first time.

When asked about the speculations regarding her marriage with Hawick, the actress replied, “Currently, our situation is very good, thank you everyone.”

As Yang Mi has quite a number of intimate scenes with her co-star, Huang Xuan, who was present at the press conference, the duo were asked if it was awkward filming the scenes.

“[It’s not] awkward, Huang Xuan is such an outstanding actor that he has already filmed so many different scenes,” Yang Mi laughed, hinting that Huang Xuan was used to it already.

At the event, Huang Xuan also conveyed his blessings for Taiwan actor Wallace Huo, who announced his relationship with actress Ruby Lin on Weibo last week, as the two had worked together previously. The actor also expressed his wish to be able to be in a relationship like Wallace and Ruby one day.

Yang Mi and Hawick married on January 8 two years ago, and gave birth to their daughter, nicknamed ‘Xiao Nuo Mi’ on June 1 in the same year.
