Taiwanese singer Yoga Lin, who was discharged from the military on Jul 22, resumed work with an endorsement event yesterday. After being away for one year, the 28-year-old unconsciously frowned at the cameras in the beginning, but he soon adapted to the situation. “This is my first day back at work. I feel like a newbie. Please give me your guidance,” he said.
Yoga shared about his experience in the army while speaking to the media. As he was assigned to the Art Performing Group unit, the singer had many opportunities to perform. “We had to build our own stage and set up the sound system. The training was tough,” confided Yoga.
Following his return to civilian life, Yoga went on a holiday to Japan with his girlfriend Kiki Ting. When asked if the ex-singer gave him any encouragement for his comeback, Yoga replied with a smile: “She told me to work hard. I was really touched.”
Although Yoga has not considered having a flash marriage, the singer has plans to set up a family when he becomes “a man with more abilities”.
“It’s not about earning more money. I want to at least achieve something [before settling down],” he explained. “I don’t know how she thinks. Hopefully I’d be able to support a family and give her assurance.”
