BTOB released their first studio album, Complete, at midnight today (June 29). Choosing to go with a ballad , ‘It’s Okay’, as their title track, it unexpectedly rose in the charts and gave the septet their first chart topper since debut.

Having debuted in 2012 with ‘Insane’, this album also included an acoustic version of their debut track. Despite including more upbeat and summer friendly tunes in their 13-track offering, their unusual choice for their title track proved to be the right choice.

Topping various Korean charts, including MelOn, Soribada, Olleh Music and Naver upon its release, they managed to retain their position for over eight hours while against other heavyweights including SISTAR, AOA, BIGBANG and EXO.

BTOB held their comeback press event hours after the release of their album, where they were asked about their thoughts on their first chart topper. The members frankly admitted that they initially thought their song was under the recommended section, which lies directly above the first placed song.

Their disbelief over the popularity of their song also caused them to question if the charts were digitally manipulated; however, their disbelief turned into exaltation once they realised that they finally made it to the top of the charts.

The members and staff were revealed to have shed tears of happiness upon hearing the news and headed out for a congratulatory meal after calming down.
