Is a Girls’ Generation comeback on the horizon?

SONEs (Girls’ Generation fans) may have something to look forward to soon. Tiffany uploaded a picture of herself in the recording studio earlier today (Feb 12), in which she seems to be intently studying a lyric sheet while in the recording studio.

She captioned her post with a vague “sooooon !!! (sic)”, leading fans to wonder what project she is working on. Tiffany is also part of Girls’ Generation’s only sub-group, Girls’ Generation-TTS, which also comprises of Taeyeon and Seohyun. The trio last released their extended play Holler in September 2014.

With Tiffany covering the lyric sheet with a superimposed sticker, it appears that the 25-year-old is keeping the real reason why she is in the recording studio tightly under wraps for now. Some possibilities that fans have thought of include a Girls’ Generation album, a TTS comeback and a collaborative project.

If this is indeed a Girls’ Generation comeback, it will be its first since member Jessica left in September last year. Their previous studio album, I Got a Boy, was released in January 2013.

Girls’ Generation last released their extended play, Mr.Mr., in February 2014.
