The wait is almost over – Super Junior officially kick started their promotions for their upcoming special tenth anniversary album Devil with a press conference held at the SMTOWN at COEX Artium today (July 15).

Coming back as nine this time, with Yesung rejoining the group after completing his mandatory military service and Shindong and Sungmin enlisting earlier this year, the group expressed that despite their ever-changing lineup, they always put in their best efforts and work together as a group.

Yesung, in particular, shared that he realised how important the members were to him after being absent for three years, affirming that he will put in extra effort and work harder in the future to put on even better performances.

Their title song, ‘Devil’, was described to be a song that expresses the mentality of a man who has fallen deeply in love. Their 2007 car accident was also mentioned at the press conference, with Leeteuk expressing that while the horrific scene caused members – in particular, Kyuhyun – to sustain serious injuries, the members have become stronger and more successful since then.

The group revealed the full tracks of their upcoming album at their recent Super Show 6 in Seoul Encore shows last weekend, including title track ‘Devil’ and ‘Alright’. The album also includes tracks by its subunits, Super Junior-T, Super Junior-K.R.Y., Super Junior-M and Super Junior D&E.

Devil will be released on July 16 at midnight KST (July 15, 11pm Singapore time).
