TVXQ!’s Yunho has been confirmed to enlist on July 21 and will serve active duty for 21 months.
Reports published earlier this week claimed that the musician would be enlisting on July 6 but were swiftly dismissed by label S.M. Entertainment.
Following their denial of the alleged date, they posted his confirmed enlistment date on their official Twitter account (@SMTOWNGLOBAL), adding that details of his enlistment will not be shared as he wishes to enter his service quietly.
TVXQ! has yet to release a Korean studio album since Tense in January last year, which means that fans are likely to have a long wait in store for new releases from the pair.
Meanwhile, the duo is slated to perform at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena this weekend (June 13-14) as an encore performance for their T1ST0RY tour, which kicked off in Seoul last December and has traveled to venues in Taiwan, China and Thailand.
