Adele left a BRITs after-party on Wednesday (24.02.16) night just minutes after she arrived.
The 'Hello' hitmaker appeared to be on high after snapping up a record four awards at the glamorous ceremony earlier this week but it seems things got a bit too much for her when she arrived at a party, held at The Arts Club in Mayfair in London, as she decided to leave shortly after her arrival.
An onlooker told the Evening Standard newspaper: "I was in the entrance hall when Adele walked in.
"She looked really stressed out. There were quite a few people around her and she just turned around and said, 'I don't want to do this, I'm going home,' and walked out. It was so fast it happened in just a few seconds. She looked upset more than anything, like it was all too much for her. A woman in front of her just nodded her head and said, 'OK, OK.' "
The boozy celebratory bash, which featured a performance from Paloma Faith, was thrown by Sony Music.
Meanwhile, earlier in the night, Adele, was reduced to tears as she made her acceptance speech after astronaut Tim Peake announced her as the winner of the BRITs Global Success Award, live from the International Space Station.
The 27-year-old singer also picked up British Female Solo Artist, British Single for 'Hello' and Mastercard British Album Of The Year for '25' and closed the show with a performance of her new single 'When We Were Young'.
