Taylor Swift is a "badass".
The 26-year-old singer has been praised by Joseph Kahn, the director of the video for her latest single 'Out of the Woods', who revealed Taylor suffered for her art during filming.
He tweeted: "Taylor was so dedicated to making this video. I was wrapped in snow gear. She was in a dress. She suffered for her art. #OOTWMusicVideo
"Taylor chose to stay in the mud for hours to keep the shoot moving. No in and out. Just gangstered it. She is bad ass. #OOTWMusicVideo
"In art, how you do it is as important as what you do. The brushstrokes are as important as the idea (sic)."
Along with praising Taylor's dedication to her art, Joseph was also full of praise for her songwriting skills.
He added: "I listened to Out of the Woods a thousand times over 3 months straight working on the video. Still love that song.
"Not only do I need to like the artist to make a video, I also have to like the audience. Make beautiful things for beautiful people (sic)."
