Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are reportedly in couples therapy.
The 'Gone Girl' star and the 'Dallas Buyers Club' actress' relationship is allegedly in crisis after almost 10 years of marriage, but they are "trying to work it out" for the sake of their three children, Violet, nine, Seraphina, six, and three-year-old Samuel.
A source close to the couple told Us Weekly magazine: "They are trying to work it out for the kids' sake, but things are not all peaches and cream with them."
The insider claims the couple "have been in therapy for years," adding: "They each go separately, and they also go together. When things are rough, they go more often."
While they are said to be working to rebuild their relationship, Oscar winner Ben, 42, is reportedly spending more nights at the Hotel Bel Air in favour of their lavish family home in Brentwood, California.
The source said: "He stays there whenever he and Jen are having problems."
The 'Argo' director previously praised Jenner, 43, for working on their marriage while accepting the Best Film Oscar for the movie in 2013.
He said at the time: "It is work but it's the best kind of work and there is nobody else I would rather do that kind of work with."
