Bobby Brown has reportedly checked into rehab.
The 'My Prerogative' singer has agreed to seek help for substance abuse issues at the urging of his pregnant wife and manager Alicia Etheredge.
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "Bob is in rehab."
The insider told the publication that the 47-year-old star was seeing help in California for cocaine and alcohol problems, but Bobby's attorney denied that was the case, though refused to answer when asked directly if his client was being treated for substance abuse, saying only that he will be appearing at an upcoming concert on March 4.
In 2012, three months after his ex-wife Whitney Houston passed away, Bobby - who has previously fought addictions to alcohol, heroin and cocaine - claimed he had been clean for seven years when his former spouse died.
However, in August 2012, he sought treatment for substance abuse, and six months later was sentenced to an 18-month rehabilitation programme after being charged with driving under the influence.
It was revealed earlier this week that Bobby and Alicia, who he married in 2012, are expecting their third child together, just seven months after they welcomed their daughter Bohdi into the world.
This will be the seventh time the New Edition singer has become a father as he also has Cassius, six, with Alicia, LaPrincia, 25, Bobby. Jr, 23, from his relationship with Kim Ward, son Landon, 29, from his fling with Melika Payne, and late daughter Bobbi Kristina from his marriage with fallen star Whitney
