Charli XCX is going to songwriting boot camp next January.
The 23-year-old singer has given up a New Year's holiday to go to the camp featuring some of the world's most prominent pop players such as super-producer Benny Blanco who has penned hits for the likes of Katy Perry, Jessie J and Maroon 5 and co-produced Charli's last album 'Sucker'.
The aim of the event is to create some new chart-topping hits.
She revealed: "I wanted to go on holiday somewhere, sometime but I just got asked to go to this writing camp in January, so I don't know if I can go on a holiday now. The camp will have a lot of big pop producers there, Benny Blanco and people like that."
Charli is still planning on getting away at some point though - to the remote island of Bora Bora, the same place where Justin Bieber felt confident enough to strip off naked while relaxing.
She said: "I will have a holiday though - I want to go to Bora Bora or something and really get away from everything."
Charli is in the initial stages of recording her next album and has promised it's going to be an all-out pop LP.
She said: "I'm not giving too much away yet, it's still at the ideas stage but it's going very well, it's very pop."
