David Beckham has taken to Instagram to share his support for Lamar Odom.

The former NBA star is currently in critical condition in a Nevada hospital after being found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel earlier this week and David is the latest in a long line of celebrities who have taken to social media to send love to Lamar.

Posting a picture of Lamar in his LA Lakers uniform, David wrote: "Stay strong brother."

David's message after Lamar's former in-laws, Kris Jenner and Rob Kardashian took to social media urging for prayers for him.

Kris posted a picture and wrote: "Please pray for Lamar #ourfighter (sic)", while Rob, Lamar's ex-wife Khloe Kardashian's sibling, also shared a heartbreaking message addressing the sports star as his "brother".

He wrote alongside an image of him hugging Lamar: "Praying nonstop for my Brother !! (sic)".

Kim Kardashian West's ex-husband, basketball player Kris Humphries tweeted: "Everyone please pray for @RealLamarOdom to make it through this. Great player, even better person!"

Lamar's former teammate Dwayne Wade tweeted, "PRAYERS all the way UP for my brother Lamar Odom!!!" and "I can't help but to be up right now... THINKING about my ex teammate/ friend LO.. On my knees praying...please God let him pull thru", while Miami Heat, for whom Odom played, tweeted, "Our thoughts and prayers are with Lamar Odom and his family at this time."

Kelly Rowland wrote, "#PrayersForLamarOdom," Miles Teller said, "Saddened to hear about Lamar Odom.. Hoping he can pull through" and Bethenny Frankel commented: "The @RealLamarOdom situation is so very sad. You wonder why certain people experience so much pain."

It has been claimed that Lamar had "virtually every drug imaginable" in his body when he was found.

He is reportedly likely to have suffered "brain damage" as a result of a "loss of oxygen but also possible stroke," and doctors are treating the situation as a non-suicidal "overdose."

A source told E! News: "Drugs were found in his system. [He] had been partying since Friday. He was doing crack cocaine all weekend and he choked on his mucous. They're now having to fix all the damage it has done.
