Dawn French is "on the reserve bench" for the 'Absolutely Fabulous' movie.
The 58-year-old comedian is a long-time friend and collaborator of the series' writer Jennifer Saunders and has revealed she's open to the idea of starring in the much-anticipated movie, even though she doesn't currently have a part.
Asked if she was going to be making an appearance in the movie, Dawn told ITV's 'Lorraine': 'I'm not in it at the moment...I'm on the reserve bench for anything she (Jennifer Saunders) needs me to do. She's already written one part for me which she then cut the next day, another part she asked me to do on the day I'm on stage in Liverpool, can't, so who knows, watch this space."
Meanwhile, 'Absolutely Fabulous' star Joanna Lumley revealed recently that the movie will see all of the original cast return as well as special cameos.
She explained: "We are all there, the same old gang. Lots of people you will have seen in it before. I think we are going down to the south of France to do some of the shooting there ... It'll all be shot on location. It is going to be ravishingly funny! Very gorgeous and completely fabulous!"
