Joanna Lumley has compared her 'Absolutely Fabulous' character to an "alley cat".
The 69-year-old star reprises her role as party-loving Patsy Stone in the upcoming film adaptation of the classic comedy and has confessed she missed getting up to no good with co-star Jennifer Saunders, who plays Edina 'Eddy' Monsoon.
Asked what she enjoyed most about playing Patsy again, Joanna exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Just the bad behaviour. Just that extraordinary anarchic character who doesn't really belong to anybody, who is sort of an alley cat and closest friends with Edina. It was just fun to be them again. It's great, I think you're going to love it."
Joanna added that while she can't reveal many of the details of the movie just yet, she was thrilled to be reunited with her former co-stars.
She said: "I can't tell you very much about it except that we've got all of the original cast, which is June Whitfield, Julia Sawalha, Jane Horrocks, the great Jennifer Saunders and yours truly. And we've got some beautiful new stars."
