Kanye West has hailed Kim Kardashian West's brand of emojis as "dope".
The 38-year-old rap star - who married Kim last year - has come to the defence of his wife after her Kimoji app received a mixed reaction from the public.
Kanye wrote on Twitter: "I'm so proud of my wife! This KIMOJI idea is so dope... (sic)"
The app was downloaded over 9,000 times a millisecond at one point and even caused Apple's app store to break.
Kim apologised to her many social media followers in a series of tweets shortly after the technical issue arose.
She wrote: "We worked so hard on this app & we know there are some issues due to the massive downloads that the whole tech team is so working on!
"My Kimoji app will be up and running again soon! They are also working on fixing the search so u can easily find it!"
Buyers of the app are able to use a number of Kim-inspired images through their phones, including that of the infamous backwards selfie she took while wearing a white swimsuit in October 2013.
However, critics of the idea have blasted it for being unoriginal.
