Khloe Kardashian blamed her Twitter rant on "antibiotics and painkillers".
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star hit out at critics on social media who said she should chose between her current boyfriend James Harden and estranged husband Lamar Odom - who she is holding a bedside vigil for as he recovers from a four-day drink and drug binge - but later claimed medication she is currently taking had influenced her rant.
She tweeted: "antibiotics + painkillers + tweeting does not equal anything good.(sic)"
Khloe has reportedly contracted a staph infection at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where Lamar is currently recovering, and her family are very worried about her.
A source said: "It's so scary. She's so sick."
And the 31-year-old beauty's mother Kris Jenner is said to be particularly "freaked out" as her father, Robert Houghton, died after contracting staph when he was hospitalised after a car accident in 1975.
Khloe's sister Kim Kardashian West has been ordered not to visit her younger sibling because she is eight months pregnant and doctors have deemed it too dangerous.
Khloe - who recently called off her divorce from Lamar as he returns to health - had hit out on Twitter following posts from other users who urged her to "pick one or the other", insisting she was still planning to divorce the basketball player - as he "went against" their wedding vows.
She wrote: "You should have said those to the man who went against all our vows. Judge yourself. F**k off ...
"Divorce is still going forward. Doesn't mean I won't be there through sickness and health. I've proven that. Stop believing everything you read. Not my place to clear up every rumor. I think I know what I'm doing in my life. (sic)"
