Kim Cattrall has been left "shaken up" after a teenager crashed a car into the actress' home.
The 59-year-old actress shared a number of pictures on her twitter account showing the white vehicle smashed into her house, destroying her front windows and doors and damaging her interior.
Kim claimed the driver had been "joyriding" and was just 16 years old.
She tweeted: "A senseless 16 yr old driver plowed into my home Joy Riding @ 1am. People cld have been killed. U should b ashamed (sic)"
Asked by concerned fans if she was hurt, she posted: "Shaken up but okay. This young girl could have killed herself, her friends, and me. Frightening..
"No one was hurt physically. This has shaken the whole neighborhood.(sic)"
And the 'Sex and the City' star felt "violated" by the shocking incident.
She tweeted: "A beautiful clay pottery glazed planter that held a tree and plants. Handmade. Now, sadly smashed to pieces. Violating this."
Kim also contacted Mothers Against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D.) about what had happened.
She wrote: "I'd like 2 make this violating experience a cautionary tale 2 other teenagers."
"@ 1am Tuesday a 16 yr old driver smashed into my home. How can we prevent these violating assaults? (sic)
The non-profit organisation replied: "@KimCattrall So sorry to hear this. #DrunkDriving is an epidemic we must end. #NoMoreVictims DM us your email to see if we can help.(sic)"
The actress also retweeted a number of comments calling for the driving test to be made harder.
