Lily James at the London premiere of Cinderella
Lily James cannot live without her Converse shoes.
The 'Cinderella' actress - who recently revealed the glass slipper from the film cost more than her own house - has far more affordable taste in footwear than her titular alter-ego from the motion picture, admitting she has a penchant for the US shoe company's designs.
When asked at the London premiere of the movie in Leicester Square last night (19.03.15) what shoes she can't live without, she told BANG Showbiz: "My Converse."
The 25-year-old beauty was full of praise for her co-stars - who include Richard Madden (Prince Charming), Cate Blanchett (Wicked Stepmother) and Helena Bonham Carter (The Fairy Godmother) - and believes the film shows girls they don't have to find their Prince Charming to be strong and have courage.
She added: "I've been enjoying it the whole way through, the filming of it, the making of it, to being with these wonderful people...
"There's all sorts of courage and all sorts of strength, but I think our movie is showing it quietly and dignified from within. But with it, she can deal with life and find joy in even the darkest moments, and she doesn't need a prince."
Several other stars also walked the blue carpet at the premiere including Helena, Richard, director Kenneth Branagh and Hayley Atwell (Cinderella's mother).
