Lindsay Lohan wants to run for President in 2020.
The 29-year-old actress - who has overcome legal problems and substance abuse issues in her short adult life - wants to throw herself into politics and represent the United States after she was inspired to run for office by Kanye West.
Taking to her Instagram account, the flame-haired beauty uploaded a photograph of herself at the White House Correspondents Dinner in 2012, and accompanied it with the playful caption: "In #2020 I may run for president. Through ups and downs #YESWECAN lets do this @kanyewest."
The troubled star then went on to praise current President Barack Obama for encouraging her and Kanye, 38, to take charge of the United States as its Commander and Chief.
She added: "Thank you for inspiring us to be better people @barackobama," followed by the hashtags "#kanyewest2020 #lindsaylohanat35 #lindsaylohan2020 with #34yearsofEXPERIENCE #unitingWORLDnations (sic)."
She then uploaded a second photograph and shared her future plans for the country after watching and taking inspiration from Britain's Queen Elizabeth: "The first thing I would like to do as president of is take care of all of the children suffering in the world. #queenELIZABETH showed me how by having me in her country (sic)."
Meanwhile, President Obama recently joked about the Kanye's recent proclamations that he intends to run for office and suggested the rapper's marriage to 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star Kim Kardashian West would help him in his potential future career.
