Olivia Colman has joined the EE Rising Star Award jury to help choose the shortlist for the 2016 award.
The 41-year-old actress - who starred in 'The Iron Lady' and 'Locke' - has joined a host of leading industry experts on the judging panel for the coveted award, which has has been won previously by the likes of James McAvoy, Tom Hardy and Kristen Stewart.
Olivia said: "I feel very privileged to be sitting on the jury panel for the EE Rising Star Award - it's so important to have a category that recognises up and coming talent.
"After reviewing the actors and actresses that have emerged this year, whittling down the shortlist is going to be no easy feat but I'm looking forward to it enormously."
The award was created in honour of Mary Selway, who was a BAFTA-winning casting director, and who worked with a host of acclaimed directors, such as Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood and Ridley Scott.
The nominees for the award will be announced on January 6, when public voting will be opened and available to all UK residents.
The award winner will be announced at next year's EE British Academy Film Awards in February.
