Zayn Malik's breakup text to ex-fiancé Perrie Edwards was reportedly sent at a Little Mix single celebration.
According to a source, the former One Direction star decided to send the Little Mix singer a message ending their relationship while the 22-year-old beauty was celebrating with her band mates - Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock - after 'Black Magic' topped the UK charts.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "This was meant to be Perrie's big night, but it turned into a disaster. Zayn's timing could not have been worse."
The star-studded bash is believed to have taken place at glamour model, Kelly Brook's London club Steam And Rye on Monday (20.07.15) just three days after the single went to number one.
This comes as the 1D hunk asked for the 'Salute' hitmaker to move all of her belongings out of the flat, which he bought five months into their relationship back in 2012.
A source previously shared: "They no longer speak. Zayn's adamant Perrie has to move her stuff out.
"She's in America, so her parents will probably have to do it while she's away."
Meanwhile, Perrie doesn't seem bothered by her split as she partied in Las Vegas with her band mates.
Perrie is expected to break her silence on the split on 'James Corden's Late Late Show' on August 18.
The insider added: "The girls are going on the show as part of their month-long tour of America and by then Perrie will be in much cheerier spirits.
"She's already getting her fight back so this could be very feisty."
