Just four months after making headlines with their romance, Hallyu superstars Lee Dong Wook and Bae Suzy have gone their separate ways.

The breakup was confirmed by the former couple’s respective agencies, King Kong by Starship and JYP Entertainment, today (July 2). Both sides explained that their busy schedules made it difficult for them to spend time together, and as a result, they naturally grew apart. An insider also added that the former couple will continue to cheer for each other as fellow actors.

Dong Wook and Suzy, who met at a private gathering, confirmed they were dating in March this year, and were said to be in the early stages of getting to know each other. Their relationship drew attention not just due to their A-list statuses, but also their 13-year age gap (Dong Wook is 36; Suzy is 23).
