Twice Surpasses 200 Million Views on ′Cheer Up′ MV
Twice′s music video for track Cheer Up has surpassed 200 million views. Accordingly, Twice became the first k-pop girl group to exceed 200 million views on two videos.
On August 9 at 1AM KST, the music video for Cheer Up recorded 200,007,842 views on YouTube.Cheer Up was released on April 25, 2016 and proceeded to exceed 100 million views in November of the same year. Previously, Twice exceeded 200 million views for the first time through the music video for TT, which was released in May of this year.
Additionally, Twice′s most recent title track Signal, which was released this May, is steadily approaching 100 million views
Twice has also been rising in popularity around the world with their debut album in Japan reaching number 1 on Oricon′s daily album chart 4 days in a row.
