BTS make Grammys debut with promise to return

BTS make Grammys debut with promise to return

Korean boy band BTS made their first appearance at the prestigious 61st Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday. The septet, which has previously attended the Billboard Music Awards and American Music Awards, walked the red carpet at the Grammys before going on stage to present the award for Best R&B Album at the ceremony.

Around the world, all eyes were on BTS as they made their appearance at the show, arriving in Hyundai Palisades – which the group endorses and has seen phenomenal sales ever since – and spoke to the media. The members all wore custom-made suits from two South Korean labels, choosing to show support for the talents from their home country: RM, Suga, Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook all looked sharp in JayBaek Couture, while J-Hope's smart get-up was courtesy of designer Kim Seo Ryong.

During interviews with the press, BTS hinted that they have been “staying up all night” to work on their upcoming album, and that there could be collaborations that their fans, ARMY, can look forward to hearing. However, they refrained from divulging more information about the concept or revealing if it will be another trilogy. "I just hope that [fans] love it, and listen to it, and they like it, that's all," said leader RM.

At the ceremony, RM took centre stage as he got fans even more excited for what’s to come with his short but impactful, “Thanks to all our fans for making this dream come true, and we'll be back.”

True to their unwavering love for their ARMY, the group shared that instead of attending the Grammys after-party, they will be going live on video streaming service VLIVE to chat with their fans.
