Belinda Lee marries American architect

Two years ago, Belinda Lee declared to us that one day, she hopes to be able to announce that she’s found her life partner.

Well, that day has finally come.

This morning (Oct 28), her management agency Cross Ratio Entertainment announced that the 42-year-old actress-host tied the knot with American architect David Moore on Sunday (Oct 27). The news comes as a surprise as Belinda never went public with their relationship until now.

According to a press release, an intimate solemnisation and dinner was held at a Peranakan restaurant, attended by only close friends and family members, including David’s, who specially travelled to Singapore from California for the occasion.

The couple exchanged vows “in a bower of natural twigs and greenery”, while the restaurant was “adorned with brilliant cymbidium orchids of canary yellow, pink and green”. Belinda wore an off-shoulder Romona Keveza gown in a silk crepe material.

“I have found true love, given from above,” the bride gushed in a statement. “All the waiting for my soulmate was worth it. It is never too late to discover love.”

Belinda was previously engaged to her ex-boyfriend of six years but they called it quits in 2011. Earlier, she admitted that “it hasn’t been easy” finding someone who fulfils what she looks for in a partner, which is someone who is able to say, “Let’s go out there to leave a legacy, help people and do something fun and meaningful with our lives.”
