Stefanie Sun’s son says he “hates her”

son, nicknamed Na Xiao Zi, had been ill. Besides running a high fever of 38 degree celsius, the five-year-old vomited on his bedsheets and refused to have proper meals. He also threw tantrums because of how uncomfortable he felt.

The 39-year-old singer revealed that the eighth day was the worst, as her son hated his “terrible tasting medicine”, and was also unhappy with the reduced “amount of TV time” he was given.

After she told him he was not to have “any more chocolate”, the boy wrote her notes that read “you hate me” and “I hate mama” (sic), to which she retorted in anger with, “Ya? Well I don’t care if you die!” (sic).

According to Stefanie, his illness started to let up near the end of the eighth day, and he managed to stomach his entire bowl of noodles, causing her to tear up in relief.

The singer revealed that she and her son are back on good terms, after Nai Xiao Zi wrote her a note that said “For Mama: I will help you” during their walk in a nearby park yesterday morning (May 9) with her husband, businessman Nadim Ver Der Ros.

Stefanie let on that she was so busy nursing Na Xiao Zi back to health that she completely forgot that she is pregnant with her second child, who is believed to be due in July this year.

“As I type this at 4.30 am in the morning, I realised the times I had forgotten about the swell in my belly,” Stefanie mused. “There’s another one coming? Nadim and I are doing it all over again. We can’t wait.” (sic)
