Stefanie Sun shares ultrasound of baby to announce hiatus
The local singer is expected to give birth to ‘Poppy’ in the second half of 2018
As a farewell gift for fans, the 39-year-old singer shared a video snippet of popular movie soundtrack ‘Half a Goodbye’ on her Facebook today, fulfilling a promise she made in January to release the song as a single following its popularity online. The song is set for release on March 30 across major music platforms.
The track was first recorded by the singer in 2016 for Taiwanese movie At Café 6, and has since garnered more than 13 million views on YouTube.
In the video, the singer included the ultrasound scans of her unborn child ‘Poppy’, and also added the sounds of the baby’s heartbeat. She then left a heartwarming message reminding fans that “good things are always happening”, and “goodbyes are for the next happy gathering”.
