Fann Wong warms hearts on her birthday

Singapore actress Fann Wong surprised the elderly on her birthday last year as she, along with her son Zed and fans, collectively known as the Fannatic Fann Club, delivered gifts and spent time with the elderly residents.

Yesterday (January 27), she did the same again as she spent her second birthday in a row sharing the gift of love. This time around, she was joined by her husband, fellow actor Christopher Lee, as well as Zed and her fan club.

In her Facebook post, the 48-year-old shared, “Even though it was only for a few short hours, the smiles on your faces were the best gift that I could receive. (…) Chinese New Year is around the corner and I prepared some presents for the old folk. I hope that I can bring more warmth to society with my own power.”

Among the other activities that took place during the afternoon were balloon sculpting, a laughing yoga session, along with haircuts. The highlight was arguably when Fann’s mother took the stage and sang for the residents.

Fann ended her post with, “Last but not least, (thank you to) the little angels in my life for the love and support all these years! Thank (you) for all the effort you put in to make this happen.”
