New mum Cheryl Wee recalls “roller coaster 2 weeks”

As she has always been during her pregnancy journey, the actress-entrepreneur was candid about the struggles she faced before, during and especially after she welcomed her son “Baby M” into the world last week.

“[The] joys of having a baby is amazing, no words can describe. but the frustrations and doubts are like walking in the dark (sic)”, she wrote, adding that it “hasn’t been easy” on her husband Roy and even her mum, beauty mogul Jean Yip. Thankfully, she has tons of love and support from friends, relatives and experts to help her get by.

“[What] more can I ask for? there are bound to be frustrations and bumps in our ride, but now each time I think of the love we are showered with, my heart melts, just as when baby M puts on a smile as if to say “mummy we are loved. that’s all that matters. (sic)”

Having his baby son crawl all over him (literally) isn’t going to stop George from doing whatever it is he’s doing on his laptop. Multi-tasking really is an essential skill for a parent.

Andie Chen faces his fear of roaches

Also another super dad is Andie, who is officially also a superhero in our eyes. While visiting The Green Planet Dubai with his family, he decided to overcome his childhood fear of cockroaches by…holding a giant one in the palm of his hand. The reason for his boldness was to show his son Aden that “there’s nothing to fear but fear itself”. In his Instagram Stories, the adventurous actor was spotted touching a snake and a toucan as well.

Ang Junyang and Candyce Toh’s dog passes away

The joy of Junyang’s first F&B venture opening was marred by the sorrow of losing their dearest golden retriever Tuffy. According to separate Instagram posts by the couple, the precious pooch passed away last week in the early morning when everyone was still sleeping.

“My heart broke into a million pieces and I couldn’t breathe, when I saw him lying still ‘sleeping’ in the morning”, Candyce wrote, while Junyang likened the dog’s death to losing “a son” and that his “heart shattered n cried so painfully when I woke up seeing him not breathing anymore (sic)”. Sobs.

Rest in peace, Tuffy.

The four of them, plus Pierre Png, had gone to catch a rugby game at the National Stadium, followed by hot Thai BBQ at 888 Mookata.
