15 gigs coming to Singapore in 2018

We’re drawing into the final months of 2018 (seriously, where has time gone?) and with that, an increasing number of concerts have been announced in the past few weeks. With the entertainment lineup for the rest of the year more or less firmed up (though we’re half-expecting more to drop), we present to  you the 16 gigs that you can seriously consider dropping some of your money for.

If you’re into K-Pop, there’s SEVENTEEN’s first solo gig at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, or the three-day HallyuPopFest; if Western music is more to your liking, Jason Mraz and Mariah Carey are just some of the acts that will be popping by our little red dot.

Alternatively, if you prefer to take a walk down memory lane, Wakin Chau will be performing in Singapore once again. If karaoke singalongs are your thing, but Wakin’s songs are a tad too beyond your age range, there’s also Jam Hsiao’s gig, or *gasp* Jay Chou’s performance to look forward too.

No matter your taste, we’re pretty sure you’ll find something that will pique your interest. Read on for more.

What to look forward to: Boasting a lineup of 21 artistes, ranging from A-listers such as Wanna One and Taeyeon, along with newer faces such as NCT127 and DREAMCATCHER, the range of artistes that will be jetting down from South Korea just for this three-day extravaganza is mind-boggling. In addition to the evening concerts, there will also be afternoon showcases and red carpet events, among others, to engage fans throughout the day.

What’s more, the talented Eric Nam will not only be performing on all three days, but also hosting the show.

Big names such as Jay Chou, The Killers, Liam Gallagher and Martin Garrix are among the many stars that will be performing during the three-day event. For those who weren’t able to get your tickets for Jay Chou’s gig at the National Stadium this year, now’s your chance. Don’t say bojio.
